Foundation Programs

The Cherokee Sheriff's Foundation operates five core programs to fulfill our mission

Community Partnerships

Designed to improve and assist in making the communities of Cherokee County a safer place to live and work through partnerships between citizens and the Cherokee Sheriff's Office. This includes education, materials, and other resources that help make our communities safer.

Equipment & Training

Supports the purchase of special equipment and training for the Cherokee Sheriff's Office when funds are not readily available. This program helps ensure officers can better serve and protect the communities of Cherokee County.

Fund Raising

Supports the Cherokee Sheriff's Foundation through community support, special events, capital campaigns, in-kind donations, and grants from public and private sectors. All funds raised are used solely for the purpose of the foundation.

Emergency Aid

Provides aid to sworn officers of the Cherokee Sheriff's Office who have been injured in the line of duty, as well as their immediate families. Assistance may include monetary funds or other support based on the individual needs of the injured officer or their family.

Non-Profit Outreach

Provides monetary support to public safety non-profit organizations. Donations to other non-profit organizations are based solely upon the discretion of the Cherokee Sheriff's Foundation Board of Directors.
